Potato Drop

"Lord, when did I see you hungry and feed you?"

Potato Drop 2009 was a success.

On May 9, 2009, over 40,000 lbs of potatoes were delivered to the church parking lot. They arrived on pallets with 50 lb bags. Many of the groups took the potatoes in 50 lb bags. About a third of them were broken down into 10 lb bags.

The potatoes went to eleven local food bank from Southwest Virginia to Farmville.






	It does the body and soul good. We do not know the names of those we helped, it is enough to know that we helped. We do this because faith without deeds is a hollow faith.
